To the few companies that have not updated their website with COVID-19 Updates, we would sincerely recommend that you place at minimum a news item or announcement on your website if you are 'still open' or 'still working' and how that affects your customers and vendors.

Extranet-in-a-Box

As work from home (WFH) or remote work increases for every company, we've had several questions about intranets/extranets. We are big fans of Slack (and to a lesser degree Microsoft Teams) for 'chat' and quick communication and some 'project discussion,' but they typically get 'messy', very quickly.

 

We have completed a basic 'Extranet in-a-Box' setup that we can quickly deploy and brand for a company. The Extranet can include staff contact information (cell numbers are especially important when everyone is working from home), document storage for templates, procedures, links (contact info for Vendors/Suppliers), Video Tutorials, Events Listings / Deadlines Calendar and more. Access or login can be limited via a simple password, user email address or hidden but public (can't find it without a specific URL).

Our implementation should meet 90% of all needs and customization is possible. Because this is a pre-made solution, the initial setup fee is very reasonable and there is a small monthly fee for hosting, security and general support.
